Are You COMPLETELY Registered for LD Camp?

 It is VERY important you follow these steps to make sure that you are completely and correctly registered for Leadership Dynamics camp. Please follow these steps to make the registration process problem-free.

Step 1:  Register for your Leadership Dynamics course through the Badger High guidance office or during Freshmen Registration Night.

Step 2:   Read through the letter to parents/guardians as it provides a general explanation of camp.  Print and fill out the Registration Contract which includes the Medication Form, Emergency Form, and Consent Form.

Step 3:   Mail Form 1: Registration Contract, Form 2: Eagles Nest (Lutherdale Emergency), Form 3: Medication, and Form 4: Consent forms, with payment (no cash), to Badger High School c/o: Ms. Koltz, 220 South Street, Lake Geneva. Or if you prefer, Pay Online

Step 4: Visit the Leadership Dynamics web page (approximately two weeks after sending forms) and check Confirmation link on the web page to see that your registration and payment have been received and updated. Concerns, changes, or updates should be addressed by phone to Mrs. Koltz (262) 348-2000 ext.2705.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Postings to the Confirmation portion of the web page will be your only confirmation of your camp registration. Phone or mail confirmation will not occur, so check the website often.  

Step 5:   Read the material provided at Leadership Dynamics web page under Camp Info. In particular, look at the “What To Bring” checklist to be prepared for camp.

Step 6:   You are fully registered and ready for camp! Arrive at the commons (County Highway H Entrance) of Badger High School at 2PM on the Sunday of the week you are scheduled for camp. Bring Emergency form if it has not already been sent with registration materials.

Registration

Any registration materials, with $150 payment, received on or before April 30th will be accepted; those that register and pay after April 30th will pay a late fee of $30. Our registration deadlines are very important, as we need to hire and train our staff, order materials, and set up a full week residential program by early June.THE SIGNED REGISTRATION CONTRACT AND PAYMENT ARE DUE BY APRIL 30th. In addition, although April 30th is our deadline, getting payment and your contract in as early as possible will help assure your place in your preferred week of camp.

Student planning on participating in Leadership Dynamics should submit their signed registration contract with their payment to the office Badger High School secretary or Ms. Koltz, either in person or by mail:

Emergency Information

Emergency forms can be found along with the rest of the registration information provided on the website. We appreciate the time and effort you invest in filling out these forms carefully. These forms can be mailed with your contract or brought to camp when you check in. If your son/daughter uses any prescription medicine, we need a doctor’s authorization. If you are sending your son/daughter with any medicine they need to self-administer (inhaler for asthma, for example), we need specific information and your authorization. The school nurses are on call during the summer.

Student Fees

The school district pays for teaching and material costs, as with every Badger program. However, there is a $150 per student room and board fee per session, a $30 chaperone fee per student, and $10 covers a Leadership Dynamics bandana and custom reusable water bottle. College students are hired to chaperone in place of those parents/guardians who are unable or choose not to chaperone. Parents who chaperone will receive a refund of the chaperone fee at the end of the summer. Registrations received on or before April 30th will pay a fee of $150, those received after this date will pay an additional $30 late fee.

Cancellation Policy

If a conflict arises prohibiting a student from attending Leadership Dynamics; a full refund will be paid if written notification is given by May 15th to Ms. Koltz. Cancellations received after this time will receive a refund of the registration fee less $50.

More Info

  • Leadership Dynamics One and Two are 1/2 credit each
  • LD3 and Senior Leadership are 1 ½ credits.
  • LD One is a prerequisite for all other classes in LD program.
  • Students may enroll in Leadership Dynamics Two and LD3 or Senior Leadership during the same summer, earning 2 credits of Leadership.
  • Students wanting to take Senior Leadership are encouraged to take all the LD courses available, in sequence to best prepare them for their LD 12 experience.
